Your proposed itinerary
Day 1 · Arrive at Yuksom; permit and equipment checks.
Day 2 · Trek towards Sachen.
Day 3 · Continue to Tshoka.
Day 4 · Climb through the forest towards Dzongri.
Day 5 · Acclimatisation day around Dzongri; optional gentle viewpoint walk.
Day 6 · Continue to Thansing.
Day 7 · Move to the permitted upper camp if conditions allow.
Day 8 · Early permitted Goechala viewpoint attempt; return to Thansing.
Day 9 · Descend to Tshoka.
Day 10 · Return to Yuksom; arrange an extra night before onward travel.
High-altitude routes need acclimatisation and an experienced local guide. Trek opening dates, permits and weather can change. Itinerary and access are confirmed before departure; carry a buffer day and suitable insurance.
